Bernabe Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Granate's Ildefonso Columbo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute, one of Granate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granate. The referee gave Paragüil FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gabriel Ellande, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Granate's Jonathan Palmquist. 0-1. Paragüil FC's Ildefonso Tiso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Paragüil FC from getting a goal against them. Paragüil FC's Ildefonso Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Galtero in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fausto Viator's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Palmquist was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ildefonso Tiso was a little too slow when Robert Kirby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some careless play in the Paragüil FC defense, Bernabe Galtero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ildefonso Tiso. The Paragüil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ildefonso Tiso should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Robert Kirby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 60 minutes into the match, Paragüil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Serapio came free, but Ildefonso Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Tiso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Olando to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Tiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Kirby in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Granate's Jonathan Palmquist got control of the ball when Fausto Viator tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. There was no doubt that Granate were the better team. Granate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
