German Txatxu hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Eleazar came free, but Fabricio Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Zeledon Behe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Emesto made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Zeledon Behe sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Teobaldo Kante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Chale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fabricio Chale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Bruno Hechter took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Chale. Fabricio Chale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bruno Hechter scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Chale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When German Txatxu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chimborazo A.F.C's protests and gave German Txatxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Chimborazo A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by German Txatxu. In the 32nd minute of the match Omar Batistuta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Chale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mateo Emesto made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Zeledon Behe sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Batistuta came free, but Fabricio Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anibal Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Mateo Emesto made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Zeledon Behe sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Procopio made a kick off. Bruno Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Behe came free, but Mateo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Emesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Oton in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Vladimiro Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo A.F.C's Tiburcio Tello got a free kick in the 57th minute. Chimborazo A.F.C's Zeledon Behe got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Kante kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Crosmayo FC's Mateo Emesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Behe in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Omar Batistuta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabricio Chale, 1-4. 79 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Behe came free, but Mateo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Crosmayo FC booed when Chimborazo A.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Procopio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Emesto. Mateo Emesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Arnulfo Procopio's late challenge caught a Crosmayo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Procopio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Chimborazo A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Procopio to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Procopio came free, but Mateo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crosmayo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
