The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Batistuta came free, but Bernardino Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Samuel Pes fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terremoto FC's protests and gave Samuel Pes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Samuel Pes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Batistuta in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Eneko saved Terremoto FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Hugo Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Chabier came free, but Augusto Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Hermelando, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Augusto Ordono came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto FC's Juan Chabier. But to his dismay, Juan Chabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Pes came free, but Augusto Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Mirande in the 41st minute of play forced Crosmayo FC's goalkeeper Augusto Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hugo Mirande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Ordono. Crosmayo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augusto Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Ordono came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto FC's Hugo Mirande. But to his dismay, Hugo Mirande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Crosmayo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Terremoto FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Hermelando made a kick off. Samuel Pes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Crosmayo FC's Augusto Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Hurko in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Daniel Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crosmayo FC and the Terremoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Daniel Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Juan Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Augusto Ordono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terremoto FC's Juan Bazil was substituted for Ovidio Belmiro. Terremoto FC's Constantino Favila was substituted for Adrian Bibiano. In the 69th minute Melquiades Hurko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Crosmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Igon to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Ordono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Mirande in the 78th minute of play. Augusto Ordono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terremoto FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
