The Perros del sur fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Perros del sur's Mario Mandzukic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leopoldo Mannuel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, El Patriarca ®'s Leopoldo Mannuel got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lisandro Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Orlondon having to interfere. Diego Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Miguel Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Siro Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lisandro Ralondo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Patriarca ®'s protests and gave Lisandro Ralondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Perros del sur booed when El Patriarca ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Patriarca ®'s Lisandro Ralondo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Siro Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Oro in the 40th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes, Orlando Oro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Djimmy Guimard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Lisandro Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Mandzukic to make the kick off. Djimmy Guimard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Silviano in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to El Patriarca ® getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cipriano Iban hit a great ball. Mario Mandzukic made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 59thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Djimmy Guimard would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Djimmy Guimard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Oro in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Diego Tanio managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Patriarca ®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Tanio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Eleder in the 68th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Mandzukic in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute Mario Mandzukic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Guimard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djimmy Guimard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Perros del sur's Marcos Silviano in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Patriarca ®'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, El Patriarca ®'s Severino Lastur got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Eleder in the 87th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Orlando Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Guimard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Marcos Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Guimard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Perros del sur's Mario Mandzukic made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djimmy Guimard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Eleder in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djimmy Guimard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Perros del sur's Jacinto Eleder got a free kick in the 95th minute. Perros del sur's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
