Djimmy Guimard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Blanco in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Santo Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Severino Lastur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Patriarca ®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muchachos del 86 the free kick. In the 31st match minute, El Patriarca ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Dantae to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Pabla in the 31st minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Santo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Guimard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Justo Licerio hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Lisandro Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ramiro Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Djimmy Guimard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Pabla in the 58th minute of the match. El Patriarca ®'s Lisandro Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Djimmy Guimard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute, Joel Pabla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Djimmy Guimard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafino Vincent during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Santo Blanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Djimmy Guimard having to make a save.
