The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match Gregorio Belarmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Chale skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Medina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Chale was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremias Medina sped through Chimborazo A.F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Chale. When CA Juventud Unida's Jeremias Medina in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 23 minutes of play, CA Juventud Unida's Ricardo Gelacio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburcio Tello's late challenge caught a CA Juventud Unida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Tello helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 minutes of play, CA Juventud Unida's Jeremias Medina made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chimborazo A.F.C's Tiburcio Tello got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Tiburcio Tello off the ground. Tiburcio Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ricardo Gelacio took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Chale. Fabricio Chale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Medina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Chale was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Ricardo Gelacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Chale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The Chimborazo A.F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Juventud Unida were winning 0-7.

51 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gelacio came free, but Fabricio Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zeledon Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabricio Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Gelacio in the 59th minute of play. Chimborazo A.F.C's Fabricio Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Gelacio in the 60th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Ricardo Gelacio rounded Chimborazo A.F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Samuel Oton's late challenge caught a CA Juventud Unida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Oton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo A.F.C's Samuel Oton got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jeremias Medinas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Fabricio Chale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the game, Ricardo Gelacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Fabricio Chale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeremias Medina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabricio Chale. That made the score 0-10 in the 72 minute of play. In the 77th play minute Jeremias Medina came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabricio Chale. 0-11. In the 81st minute, Ricardo Gelacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Chale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Fabricio Chale was a little too slow when Ricardo Gelacio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-13. In the 96th minute, Zeledon Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CA Juventud Unida's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
