When Erubiel Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico FC's protests and gave Erubiel Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. Erubiel Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ramiro Nicholas was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Arnulfo Hulberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Hulberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Arnulfo Hulberto scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro Nicholas, making the score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute Arnulfo Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Modesto Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ruben Maurin made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hortensia FCG getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Anacleto Lalla hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Esteban Raebert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Nicholas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Ruben Maurin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcial Mingo, 2-1. Aristides Dayam hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, Hortensia FCG's Esteban Raebert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Nicholas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hortensia FCG reached it. Ramiro Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Hulberto's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Hulberto in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Nicholas saved Barrilete Cósmico FC from getting behind. After 87 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Marques. In the 92nd match minute, Hortensia FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Austin to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Lalla charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Lalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hortensia FCG had played much better football throughout.
