Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Echezonachukwu Håland in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kacper Tobias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Ceferino Cresconio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Ugaitz. Real Còrdoba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Cresconio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Baldomero Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Emil Vallgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kacper Tobias made a huge save. Esteban Poncio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kacper Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Echezonachukwu Håland in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Ceferino Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kenya's zone, Fernando Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Tobias came out of the goal and Fernando Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes in the game, Nils-Emil Vallgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kacper Tobias having to interfere. Kacper Tobias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Echezonachukwu Håland was the one to do the kick off. Kenya's Kacper Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Ceferino Cresconio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baldomero Ugaitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 60th minute, Ceferino Cresconio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kenya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Nils-Emil Vallgren struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Kacper Tobias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Còrdoba FC. In the 65th minute, Ceferino Cresconio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 70 minutes, Jeremias Oso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Còrdoba FC and the Kenya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes, Kenya's Agustin Venceslao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Ugaitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kenya reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Emil Vallgren during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils-Emil Vallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Kenya's Ceferino Cresconio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Ugaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Real Còrdoba FC's Hu Jian Liang was substituted for Nils-Emil Vallgren. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jeremias Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kenya's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Ugaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kenya's zone, Hu Jian Liang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Tobias came out of the goal and Hu Jian Liang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ceferino Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
