When Jairo Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Kenya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Dantel couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES's zone, Ceferino Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Cuenca came out of the goal and Ceferino Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kacper Tobias came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES's Saul Fonso. TALLERES's Mario Cuenca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES from getting a goal against them. Ceferino Cresconio charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Cresconio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julián Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Kenya had played much better football throughout.
