The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Jurgi during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredo Jurgi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Astor Beat got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Epifanio Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Celso Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Elazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Soin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Soin got free with Florentino Elazar in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florentino Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Baldomiro Evangelista came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Evangelista couldn't finish the play. Baldomiro Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Elazar having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Otsando was the one to do the kick off. Epifanio Bastia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Frans in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Celso Soin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Florentino Elazar. After a defensive mix-up in Pancha Futbol Club's zone, Celso Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Elazar came out of the goal and Celso Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Celso Soin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pancha Futbol Club! 79 minutes into the game, Alfredo Jurgi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Florentino Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Elazar having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Celso Soin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Elazar. Pancha Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Soin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aerolineas Argentinas FC fully deserved thier win.
