Silvestre Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cordarrell came free, but Silvestre Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Cordarrell got free with Silvestre Toli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciriaco Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Silvestre Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Michael went to the cornerflag to take it. Sergio Marchi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 85 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Cordarrell notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Potrerillo Azuleño's Silvestre Toli. Silvestre Toli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Ciriaco Cordarrell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Toli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the final whistle sounded SAN LORENZO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Potrerillo Azuleño.
