After a rather tough play, C.A. Boca Juniors's Ambrosio Bernaldo got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Desiderio Ostargi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Boca Juniors's Leo Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Ostargi's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Gonsalve in the 16th minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Unai Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Boruc Gajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1989 Blxsk's Sokol Mudrov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Celestino Millano advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 25th minute. Leo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Godoy in the 28th minute of the match. Desiderio Ostargi in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leo Franco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 1989 Blxsk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sokol Mudrov in the 37th minute. Leo Franco made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Celestino Millano sent off a good shot on target. The wind increased when Mateo Remigio made the kick off in the second half. Leo Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Ostargi's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the game, 1989 Blxsk's Ubaldo Ur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Franco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Atilano Bembe hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Ostargi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Franco saved C.A. Boca Juniors from getting behind. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Mick Snowdon got a free kick in the 67th minute. 1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Filiberto Manni replaced Honorio Birjaio. 71 minutes into the match, C.A. Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Ostargi came free, but Leo Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
