The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berisso Dortmund's Aurelio Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Palermo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Martin Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Ralondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 36 minutes into the game, Martin Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Aurelio Ralondo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Palermo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Ralondo came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Palermo slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Nacho Miramont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Ralondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 47thth minute of the game Martin Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berisso Dortmund's Aurelio Ralondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. T€Tra brick FC fully deserved thier win.
