The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Palermo succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 10th minute, Martin Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Froylan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Ismael Froylan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cuervo Loco FC's Ismael Froylan. Ismael Froylan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Froylan. Cuervo Loco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When T€Tra brick FC's Nacho Miramont in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuervo Loco FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Martin Palermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T€Tra brick FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Martin Palermo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ismael Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T€Tra brick FC. Ismael Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Ismael Froylan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Nacho Miramont made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Froylan. Cuervo Loco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 40th match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Paez to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Froylan. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Martin Palermo put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Froylan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Palermo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Froylan saved Cuervo Loco FC from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Isaac Frasquito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Froylan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 64th play minute Nacho Miramont came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismael Froylan. 0-10. After 75 minutes of play, T€Tra brick FC's Martin Palermo made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Froylan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cuervo Loco FC defense, Martin Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Froylan. The Cuervo Loco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Froylan should have stopped the shot. After 87 minutes, Martin Palermo made it 0-14 with a short kick to the right side. Cuervo Loco FC's Ismael Froylan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, T€Tra brick FC's Martin Palermo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael Froylan. Ismael Froylan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. When Manuel Paez fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuervo Loco FC's protests and gave Manuel Paez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Paez to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Palermo came free, but Ismael Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. T€Tra brick FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
