After 13 minutes, Albino Cordarryl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Palmas and the Club Atlethico Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Las Palmas getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Albino Cordarryl hit a great ball. Manuel Hibai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's Mauro Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Quinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
