With an all-out effort, Club Atlethico Talleres's Higinio Domeka threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Galindo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Samuel Danel's late challenge caught a Club Atlethico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Danel helped the player get up and apologised. If Felipe Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Lauren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Ekialde got free with Higinio Domeka in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalkeeper Higinio Domeka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Cordareo. After a defensive mix-up in TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's zone, Feliciano Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Domeka came out of the goal and Feliciano Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Galindo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Domeka saved TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Mauro Cordareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Higinio Domeka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Felipe Galindo scored to the left of an out of position Higinio Domeka, making the score, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Felipe Galindo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Higinio Domeka, 4-0. Felipe Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Higinio Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Higinio Domeka got control of the ball when Mauro Cordareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Felipe Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Higinio Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Blasi was the one to do the kick off. When Felipe Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlethico Talleres's protests and gave Felipe Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Feliciano Ekialde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Domeka skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliciano Ekialde was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlethico Talleres's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Feliciano Ekialde got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Higinio Domeka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 65 minutes into the match, Mauro Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Domeka. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Higinio Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Orlandus came free, but Higinio Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Eliu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Eliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Gilberto Eliu got a free kick in the 75th minute. Higinio Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 81 minutes of play Club Atlethico Talleres's Felipe Galindo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Felipe Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84th play minutes Mauro Cordareo shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Higinio Domeka and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Feliciano Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Higinio Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Cordareo came free, but Higinio Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Club Atlethico Talleres's Manuel Hibai got control of the ball when Victor Blasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Mauro Cordareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Higinio Domeka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Club Atlethico Talleres were the better team. Club Atlethico Talleres's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
