Faustino Ubarna's late challenge caught a Las Palmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Berbiz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Domeka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Domeka was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Antonio Berbiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Berbiz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Antonio Berbiz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Higinio Domeka to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Higinio Domeka got control of the ball when Froilan Quinito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Domeka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Berbiz in the 42nd minute of play. Antonio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Domeka having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Berbiz made a kick off. Higinio Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Higinio Domeka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Flores in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 defense, Antonio Berbiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Domeka. The TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Domeka should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Silvano Paulin made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Domeka. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. After 93 minutes of play, Las Palmas's Gaspar Flores made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
