Alejandro Chano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Serafino Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Nel in the 11th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Benigno Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Fulgencio Berto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafino Tabb. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Serafino Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Amancio Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Nel in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Platense es de Primera!! getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejandro Chano hit a great ball. Jimeno Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Guillem having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Jimeno Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Platense es de Primera!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pes to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Berto took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Tabb. Serafino Tabb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Benigno Guillem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Nel's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Candela FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Bartoli was slow to take the kick. During this time Platense es de Primera!!'s players had a chance to rest. Benigno Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pes in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Abancens was the one to do the kick off. Serafino Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Platense es de Primera!!'s Serafino Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Berto in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper Serafino Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Martinez charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Martinez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Platense es de Primera!! got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Martinez. In the 63rd minute, Vicente Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Barea took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Guillem. Benigno Guillem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Serafino Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Amancio Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jimeno Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Platense es de Primera!! got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Chano. Serafino Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 90 minutes into the game, Lucio Matia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Platense es de Primera!! the free kick. In the 90th minute, Lucio Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Fulgencio Berto got a free kick in the 94th minute. La Candela FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
