After 6 minutes, Jesus Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the Black Sky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Black Sky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Walme to maneuver through the defense. La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Hanot in the 18th minute of play. Black Sky FC's Zeledon Ramone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Black Sky FC from getting a goal against them. Amancio Abancens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeledon Ramone firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Vicente Gerazan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Vicente Gerazan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Ramone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zeledon Ramone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Berto in the 30th minute. Tiburcio Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Hanot in the 33rd minute of play. Severino Hanot took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Guillem. Benigno Guillem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Hanot in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Baltasar Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When Amancio Abancens fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Amancio Abancens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Black Sky FC's Severino Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Abancens was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem got control of the ball when Baltasar Telesforo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Bonadona. 59 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Abancens came free, but Zeledon Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fulgencio Berto fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Berto a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Berto. Severino Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Guillem having to interfere. Baltasar Telesforo might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Guillem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Telesforo ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Hanot came free, but Benigno Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Berto got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Berto to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Su in the 84th minute of play. Vicente Gerazan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The La Candela FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when La Candela FC's Amancio Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severino Hanot scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Guillem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Jesco in the 96th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Benigno Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The La Candela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Sky FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Sky FC.
