Roman Montez came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Bendito Sea El Fernet's Augusto Osasun. But to his dismay, Augusto Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th match minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Osasun in the 48th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Roman Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Osasun to make the kick off. Augusto Osasun came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Montez could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Omar Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Firman was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. After 63 minutes, Omar Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mitre and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Omar Franco. Augusto Osasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Roman Montez made a huge save. Omar Franco hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Roman Montez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Rosio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Augusto Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. The Bendito Sea El Fernet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
