The supporters of Deportivo el Divague booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ata Baykut didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes in the game Jacinto Richie after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Albino Maiorga. A very good opportunity. Albino Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Gaitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Ton Meulman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Salbatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ton Meulman in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Salbatore saved Deportivo el Divague from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ton Meulman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Deportivo el Divague's Domingos Gaitano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albino Maiorga but with some difficulty. Cesar Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Domingos Gaitano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Maiorga skillfully saved the ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ton Meulman got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gaspar Pomelov came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Pomelov couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes, Samuel Gumaro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo el Divague's Teofilo Salbatore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Salbatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ton Meulman's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Ton Meulman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ton Meulman came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ton Meulman couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Lekubegi to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Deportivo el Divague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 56th minute, Cesar Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ton Meulman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilo Salbatore. Teofilo Salbatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Ton Meulman might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Salbatore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ton Meulman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Gumaro in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo el Divague's goalkeeper Teofilo Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Santo Gonzo was substituted for Ton Meulman. Teofilo Salbatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Gonzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Santo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Salbatore having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. If Santo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
