Raul Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The A.C ALDO BONZI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Casomiro should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Elpidio Jorrin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Gabriel Gervaso's late challenge caught a A.C ALDO BONZI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Despidida AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
