The corner ended in Paulino Ledesma almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAN FC's Godofredo Abella did a great save. 8 minutes into the match, MAN FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Abella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Jurgi. Sixto Jurgi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Abella. Godofredo Abella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Asopos Katsiavrias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Abella was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Godofredo Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Corderro in the 95th minute of the match. When Paolo Maura fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAN FC's protests and gave Paolo Maura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Paolo Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
