An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Lehoi in the 2nd minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Gavino Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Jaime Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Herradura FC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Ruperto Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Herradura FC the free kick. Ruperto Bento hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gavino Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Boyd in the 12th minute of the match. Cleto Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Jánosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Iratzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cleto Goiz made a huge save. Teofilo Lain hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Socorro. Cleto Goiz was a little too slow when Higinio Urti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. The corner led Margarita's Marciano Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Goiz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 39 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Eder. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Cleto Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Jánosi was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Leo Platon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavino Olo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Jaime Iratzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Goiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Iratzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Margarita booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Boyd's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Gavino Olo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cleto Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Margarita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Higinio Urti in the 70th minute. Cleto Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Urti in the 74th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Leo Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Margarita's Gavino Olo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Boyd in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Carter Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Herradura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Margarita had won after a very even match.
