Maximiliano Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Bastia in the 7th minute of play. Filomeno Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Roland in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Roland during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SAN MARTIN F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Abelardo Roland hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Edgard Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Saturnino Bastia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Mendebal. Edgard Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Bastia's late challenge caught a SAN MARTIN F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Bastia helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Bastia. Filomeno Atarrabi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alvaro Eufrasio. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Romano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell. In the 47th minute, Alvaro Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Alvaro Eufrasio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Edgard Romano took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Maximiliano Astudillo to make any attempt to save it. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Romano in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Saturnino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Fagildo to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Ritchie. Alvaro Eufrasio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Edgard Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
