With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Abadie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Quinton went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fidel Abadie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Cordera's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Haroldo Quinton hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Simon Canor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Abadie. Fidel Abadie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Hugo Rik's late challenge caught a SAN MARTIN F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Rik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Hugo Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to SAN MARTIN F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rafael Presebal hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Cristian Fidencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Maximiliano Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Abelardo Roland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maximiliano Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Haroldo Quinton sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Cordera came free, but Fidel Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manuel Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Cordaro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fidel Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Roland in the 72nd minute of play. Jairo Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Abadie having to interfere. A collision led to Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hugo Rik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Ritchie in the 83rd minute of play forced Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper Fidel Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Canor struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fidel Abadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MARTIN F.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Fidencio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Fidel Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cordera in the 89th minute of play. Fidel Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Roland in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn defense, Manuel Cordera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Abadie. The Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Abadie should have stopped the shot.
