If Leo Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Padrón 1744's zone, Jairo Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Buttice came out of the goal and Jairo Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Padrón 1744's Faustino Txurio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Dario Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Dario Norino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hernan Eudoxio, 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Txordon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Txurio in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Eudoxio saved Locura Académica from getting behind. Carlo Buttice stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Paio's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Txurio in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Txurio in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Locura Académica booed when Padrón 1744 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Padrón 1744 got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Castulo. With a little luck, Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio got control of the ball when Faustino Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jairo Domingues hit a great ball. Carlo Buttice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Domingues in the 45th minute of play. Locura Académica were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Padrón 1744's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascual Paio took the corner. The corner led Locura Académica's Lucio Txordon to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlo Buttice despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Txurio to make the kick off. After 56 minutes Padrón 1744's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pascual Paio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Pascual Paio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlo Buttice quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Paio to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Faustino Txurio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio. Hernan Eudoxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Jairo Domingues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlo Buttice, 3-1. Faustino Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Eudoxio having to interfere. Hernan Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Txurio in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Faustino Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Padrón 1744's Faustino Txurio made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Padrón 1744 booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Faustino Txurio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Eudoxio was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Guillermo Joey lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Padrón 1744's Faustino Txurio got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Padrón 1744 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
