In the 11th match minute, Tierra del Fuego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tierra del Fuego FC's zone, Carmelo Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Iyan came out of the goal and Carmelo Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Conrado Florian put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Tierra del Fuego FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Growlithe FC:s goal. The referee gave Growlithe FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilberto Salomon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tierra del Fuego FC's Cristobal Iyan. 0-1. After 23 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Truylos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Elazar in the 27th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Rudolfo. Cristobal Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Elazar in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Elazar in the 37th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Growlithe FC booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Iyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Truylos went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th match minute, Growlithe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Emesto to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Growlithe FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gilberto Salomon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristobal Iyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Salomon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Iyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Salomon. Tierra del Fuego FC's Cristobal Iyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Tierra del Fuego FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ambrosio Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Growlithe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Iyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabian Rudolfo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tierra del Fuego FC's protests and gave Fabian Rudolfo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tierra del Fuego FC's Fabian Rudolfo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cristobal Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Truylos in the 86th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Emesto. Growlithe FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
