In the 8th minute Ladislao Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Colon Barco hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Vicente Ladio put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Growlithe FC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilberto Salomon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Electric Futbol Club's Marco Jurgi. 0-1. Carmelo Teofilio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Colon Barco hit a great ball. Haroldo Urtsin, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Growlithe FC booed when Electric Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Colon Barco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Jurgi came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Growlithe FC's Matias Truylos. But to his dismay, Matias Truylos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 33 minutes, Matias Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Growlithe FC and the Electric Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceferino Felo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marco Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Growlithe FC. In the 44th minute Gilberto Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Elazar scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Jurgi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Salomon made a kick off. After 59 minutes of play, Growlithe FC's Gilberto Salomon made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Jurgi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Jurgi was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Gilberto Salomon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Salomon really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. A collision led to Electric Futbol Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Haroldo Urtsin hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Electric Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Santio to maneuver through the defense. Marco Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Elazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Jurgi could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gilberto Salomon put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Jurgi. After 81 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Colon Barco. After a rather tough play, Electric Futbol Club's Carmelo Teofilio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Electric Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Salomon came free, but Marco Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Electric Futbol Club's Marco Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Electric Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Salomon in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Jurgi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 97 minutes into the match, Electric Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Salomon came free, but Marco Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Growlithe FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
