The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Salomon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Iyan. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Tierra del Fuego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Matias Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Iyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tierra del Fuego FC's Cristobal Iyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Truylos in the 13th minute of play. Jesus Poncio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Matias Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristobal Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Salomon in the 21st minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Emesto in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Matias Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Iyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cristobal Iyan made a huge save. Cristobal Iyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Truylos in the 34th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tierra del Fuego FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Gilberto Salomon scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Iyan, making the score, 2-0. Gilberto Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cristobal Iyan made a huge save. Colon Barco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Salomon was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Felo came free, but Cristobal Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tadeo Sanson hit a great ball. A collision led to Tierra del Fuego FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Conrado Florian hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Sotil. Cristobal Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Emesto in the 75th minute of play. Celso Otsoko charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Otsoko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Growlithe FC booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play Tierra del Fuego FC's Celso Otsoko was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
