The supporters of Beltrán City FC booed when Catarinense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eevald Kadarpik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Goito in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Christian Chaime ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Arturo Rolado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Rolado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Beltrán City FC's Sven-Arne Lindgren got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Perutxo got free with Eevald Kadarpik in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Lindgren came free, but Benicio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Cortez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Benedicto Goito took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 29th minute Arturo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Arturo Rolado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Benicio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Rolado in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Sven-Arne Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beltrán City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 40 minutes into the game, Arturo Rolado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Benicio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Beltrán City FC's Sven-Arne Lindgren. But to his dismay, Sven-Arne Lindgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The Catarinense F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beltrán City FC were winning 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Goito was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Beltrán City FC's Arturo Rolado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Romeo Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Rolado came free, but Benicio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Goito. Benedicto Goito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Benicio Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christian Chaime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Benicio Gaitan made a huge save. Arturo Rolado's late challenge caught a Catarinense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, Beltrán City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Perutxo came free, but Eevald Kadarpik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Rolado got free with Benicio Gaitan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Beltrán City FC's Benedicto Goito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. After 84 played minutes Beltrán City FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Llanos. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Rolado scored 0-13 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Gaitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Arturo Rolado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 0-14. After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Faustino Izel got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Lindgren got free with Benicio Gaitan in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 98 minutes, Faustino Izel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catarinense F.C. and the Beltrán City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Izel. The Catarinense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beltrán City FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
