When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Adan Francho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Everardo Meder. C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Francho in the 12th minute of play. WINNING ELEVEN's Artemio Abancens got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nereo Sanchez fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WINNING ELEVEN's protests and gave Nereo Sanchez a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Sanchez in the 19th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Everardo Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Ermegildo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Petrigai scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37thth minute of the game Rigoberto Hechter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Adan Francho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When WINNING ELEVEN's Adan Francho in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Everardo Meder came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Adan Francho. But to his dismay, Adan Francho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Adan Francho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Everardo Meder, 1-4. Adan Francho came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Everardo Meder could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Francho in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Meder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Adan Francho in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Everardo Meder kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 71st minute, Adan Francho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Everardo Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Hechter in the 78th minute of play. Adan Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Hechter in the 85th minute of play. Adan Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Meder having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Adan Francho could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Everardo Meder however easily saved by the left post. 94 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Francho came free, but Everardo Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over WINNING ELEVEN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.Independiente throughout the match.
