When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Carlos Cordearo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Everardo Meder to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Everardo Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A.Independiente's Everardo Meder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Independiente from getting a goal against them. C.A.Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Carlos Cordearo scored to the left of an out of position Everardo Meder, making the score, 5-0. Jeremias Vedillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Petrigai's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Masao Koriotto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The referee gave C.A.Independiente a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reynaldo Urre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Volvimos mejores's Jeremias Vedillo. 5-1. Everardo Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cordearo in the 37th minute of play.
