Benicio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Abancens in the 7th minute of play. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Ermegildo Otsando got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Romeo Osorio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Ortle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Catarinense F.C. were awarded a corner. Romeo Osorio went to the cornerflag to take it. Adan Francho took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Rigoberto Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adan Francho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Gaitan having to make a save. In the 31st minute Alejandro Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Francho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Abancens's late challenge caught a Catarinense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Abancens helped the player get up and apologised. Artemio Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Godfredo Gabon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliberto Ortle. The goal made the score 1-3.

Santos Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes, Catarinense F.C.'s Romeo Osorio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catarinense F.C. reached it. In the 56th minute, Alejandro Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Cortez. Alejandro Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Feliberto Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Godfredo Gabon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catarinense F.C. and the WINNING ELEVEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Benicio Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Abancens in the 75th minute. Artemio Abancens came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benicio Gaitan could save by the left post. A collision led to Catarinense F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zacarias Bento hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Adan Francho got a free kick in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Adan Francho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 1-5. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Catarinense F.C. from getting a goal against them.
