Habakkuk Shearer's late challenge caught a Manantiales Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habakkuk Shearer helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Volvimos mejores got a freekick which was hit by Habakkuk Shearer. Volvimos mejores's Jeremias Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Riquelme in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Riquelme in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Vedillo saved Volvimos mejores from getting behind. Paulo Chuan lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Volvimos mejores booed when Manantiales Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Bakar in the 22nd minute of the match. If Eurico Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rodolfo Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Vedillo having to interfere. Volvimos mejores's Jeremias Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Curcio in the 33rd minute of play. Manantiales Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Eurico Lima scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Mantzio, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Volvimos mejores booed when Manantiales Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Lima made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Carlos Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Habakkuk Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eurico Lima came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Volvimos mejores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Saturnino Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Mantzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jeremias Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Manantiales Fc's Jeremias Vedillo threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saturnino Curcio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Saturnino Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Fix in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Fix came free, but Rodolfo Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Fix in the 90th minute of play forced Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Volvimos mejores's Efrain Fix in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manantiales Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Volvimos mejores's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
