The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Aballe during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruperto Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Ondino in the 16th minute of the match. Departamento Deshabitado's Ruperto Tabby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Departamento Deshabitado from getting a goal against them. Villa Lourdes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Departamento Deshabitado the free kick. The supporters of Departamento Deshabitado booed when Villa Lourdes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Gigli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Aballe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eloy Bittor. That made the score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. Departamento Deshabitado's Ruperto Tabby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Gigli in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Villa Lourdes FC's Mariano Erauso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Tabby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ruperto Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Gigli in the 69th minute of play. Vladimiro Ceandro charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Ceandro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Matías Gigli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Nicanor Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Villa Lourdes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Ondino. A collision led to Villa Lourdes FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roman Tulio hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes, Departamento Deshabitado's Gaudencio Bartoli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eloy Bittor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Departamento Deshabitado reached it. Ruperto Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Gigli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, Villa Lourdes FC's Rigoberto Ondino made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruperto Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Erauso in the 96th minute of play. Villa Lourdes FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
