The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Astrada in the 10th minute of play forced ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Delmiro Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute Delmiro Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Christian Caitano got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Pilar FC's Severino Astrada in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Delmiro Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cirilo Micael made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Brun to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Brun got free with Cirilo Micael in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Astrada made a kick off. Delmiro Brun took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Micael. Cirilo Micael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roberto Abbondanzieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Mouche in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Delmiro Brun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Micael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cirilo Micael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Brun's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Brun in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Micael saved Pilar FC from getting behind. Cirilo Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's protests and gave Christian Caitano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Christian Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Brun came free, but Cirilo Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
