In the 12th minute, Alejo Carlomagno made a precise shot to the right of Isaias Garcia. Boedo Athletic.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Francisco Chabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Rainerio. Imperio Académico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Isaac Rainerio scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Chabier, making the score, 1-2. After having played for 28 minutes, Melchor Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Académico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Melchor Joachim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperio Académico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The supporters of Boedo Athletic. booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Boedo Athletic. defense, Orlando Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Garcia. The Boedo Athletic. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Garcia should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo Athletic.'s zone, Melchor Joachim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Garcia came out of the goal and Melchor Joachim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Melchor Joachim notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Boedo Athletic.'s Isaias Garcia. Isaias Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Boedo Athletic. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imperio Académico were winning 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Natal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Castulo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaias Garcia. That made the score 1-6 in the 53 minute of play. Isaias Garcia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. Imperio Académico's Leo Ondino was substituted for Melchor Joachim. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boedo Athletic.'s goalkeeper Isaias Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Leo Ondino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Imperio Académico's Emilio Sugoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaias Garcia. That made the score 1-9 after 69 minutes of play. Orlando Castulo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Alejo Carlomagno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaias Garcia. The goal made the score 1-12. Imperio Académico's Osvaldo Dodorol was substituted for Orlando Castulo. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo Athletic.'s zone, Alejo Carlomagno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Garcia came out of the goal and Alejo Carlomagno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Carlomagno in the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Ondino in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Imperio Académico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
