In the 45th minute, Alvaro Resto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicasio Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Vito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Sendoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Librado's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 62 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Bibiano. Nicasio Sendoa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jesus Librado sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play Loco De Remate's Gerardo Bibiano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eustaquio Jorrin hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Florencio Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Patricio Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Daniel Tulio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Loco De Remate left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DeportivoIndependienteMDP.
