In the 12thth minute of the game Astor Liher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Astor Liher made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee ignored Atlético Rio Cuarto's protests and gave Astor Liher a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anana Fiz in the 65th minute of the match. Santos Montel took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Txurio. When Santos Montel came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Atlético Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Montel couldn't finish the play. Santos Montel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Anana Fiz got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes Quimeras Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Teo Vito.
