In the 15th minute, Celso Berart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Berart to maneuver through the defense. Armando Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Savlet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Hulberto in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ciclista FC defense, Aaron Hulberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Crişan Taffarel. The Ciclista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Crişan Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Gar Chadov kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Armando Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Ang Si, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Rigoberto Flores got a free kick in the 27th minute. Mauricio Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Celso Berart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Lv Ang Si cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Armando Unax was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Unax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pashk Reçi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Celso Berart sent off a good shot on target.

Armando Unax made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lv Ang Si in the 53rd minute. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Amato in the 61st minute of play. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dale Cabezon replaced Mauricio Amato. 80 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Cabezon came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Berart in the 81st minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Los Hijos de Doña Beija failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
