Mapovihesa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Lv Ang Si scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Osoro, making the score, 2-0. Lv Ang Si received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Genaro Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rigoberto Flores fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciclista FC's protests and gave Rigoberto Flores a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Rigoberto Flores got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Serafin Cidro hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Ciclista FC's Lv Ang Si ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genaro Osoro. Genaro Osoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mapovihesa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Marciano Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Amador Francesco hit a great ball. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Garaile in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lv Ang Si made the kick off in the second half. If Justo Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Osoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mapovihesa FC's Jesus Odilon was substituted for Severiano Herena. In the 62nd minute Lv Ang Si shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jesus Odilon sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Savlet in the 65th minute of play. Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Flores in the 67th minute of play. Genaro Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Ang Si, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Genaro Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Ang Si, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lv Ang Si scored 5-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Savlet came free, but Genaro Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Ang Si, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lv Ang Si fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Osoro having to interfere. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marcelino Ubarna hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Gabriel Garaile had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 95 minutes into the game, Carlos Vincent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mapovihesa FC the free kick. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Gavino Ibañez replaced Gabriel Garaile. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Carlos Vincent hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match Marcelino Ubarna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Crişan Taffarel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciclista FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
