After 3 played minutes Deportivo Medievales got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Benitez. Filomeno Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Niguel in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Nerio to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Mario Lauaxeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Raulo. La Zabaleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Lauaxeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute, Marco Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Filomeno Arano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Medievales the free kick. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Diego Katia hit a great ball. Angelino Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Lauaxeta scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Raulo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The La Zabaleta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Medievales were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Herauso to make the kick off. Mario Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Raulo having to interfere. Angelino Raulo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gualterio Niguel sent off a good shot on target. Gualterio Niguel came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelino Raulo could save by the left post. After having played for 58 minutes, Zacarias Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Zabaleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Medievales's Gualterio Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Henrico. La Zabaleta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Mario Lauaxeta scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Raulo, making the score, 0-3. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save La Zabaleta from getting a goal against them. During the 74th minute of the match Diego Katia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diego Katia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Diego Katia. Angelino Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Niguel in the 81st minute. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Gualterio Niguel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Raulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 97th minute of the match, Gualterio Niguel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelino Raulo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Deportivo Medievales played a much better game than La Zabaleta and deserved their victory. The La Zabaleta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
