But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Temperley's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Procopio in the 8th minute of play. If Marciano Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Casse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Temperley's Hector Casse got control of the ball when Celestino Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Anastasio Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the the xeneise dream team fans jumped to their feet. Hector Casse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Procopio in the 24th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Hector Casse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Marciano Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Casse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Barbosa in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Petrigai got free with Hector Casse in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Florentino Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Anastasio Petrigai could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Hector Casse however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Celestino Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hector Casse to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in the xeneise dream team's zone, Romeo Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Perutxo came out of the goal and Romeo Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Indalecio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Indalecio. A hard shot 47 in the game by Anastasio Petrigai from a close distance when the talented Hector Casse managed to make a qualified save. Temperley's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Petrigai to make the kick off. When Anastasio Petrigai fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored the xeneise dream team's protests and gave Anastasio Petrigai a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Anastasio Petrigai got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Anselmo Indalecio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Casse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th match minute, the xeneise dream team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Temperley made a substitution. Amador Anaya replaced Modesto Inocente. After 56 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Rioja. Hector Casse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Procopio in the 59th minute of the match. Hector Casse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Barbosa in the 62nd minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Hector Casse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Anselmo Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Matthew in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Celestino Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Petrigai came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Petrigai succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 82 minutes into the game, Celestino Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hector Casse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Celestino Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The the xeneise dream team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Anselmo Indalecio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 98 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Cayetano Perutxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Canor. When the referee ended the match the the xeneise dream team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
