Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Placido Lia made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Ganso in the 3rd minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Jorge Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Victorino Quirze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Celso Felipillo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alzaga FC's zone, Lindo Ganso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Nesto came out of the goal and Lindo Ganso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Maurino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bernardino Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Salamon came free, but Bernardino Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Celso Felipillo hit a great ball. Lindo Ganso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lindo Ganso got free with Jorge Nesto in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Celso Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lindo Ganso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Nesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Bernardino Paio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Placido Lia sent off a good shot on target. Alzaga FC's Humberto Manilan was substituted for Pedro Salamon. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hilario Dei hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Paio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Lia. After a rather tough play, Chelco FC's Arnulfo Txatxu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Chelco FC made a substitution. Dario Gartzi replaced Lindo Bobo. After 68 played minutes Chelco FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Txatxu. Placido Lia might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Paio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Lia ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Chelco FC's Bernardino Paio got control of the ball when Placido Lia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Nesto came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelco FC's Lindo Tajo. But to his dismay, Lindo Tajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chelco FC's Arnulfo Txatxu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Placido Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Bernardino Paio made a huge save. Lindo Ganso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelco FC's Lindo Ganso got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erubiel Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelco FC's protests and gave Erubiel Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. Erubiel Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Lia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Paio saved Chelco FC from getting behind. When Lindo Tajo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Chelco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lindo Tajo couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Natalio Elivareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Placido Lia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Alzaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Lia couldn't finish the play. Alzaga FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
