Temperley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Petrigai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Anastasio Petrigai made a precise shot to the right of Hector Casse. Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 19th minute when Isaac Procopio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hector Casse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Isaac Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Casse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Casse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Temperley's Hector Casse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Indalecio in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celestino Barbosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Casse. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Isaac Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Temperley's Amador Anaya was substituted for Modesto Inocente. Anastasio Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Hector Casse made a huge save. Donato Rosario's late challenge caught a the xeneise dream team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Donato Rosario. 70 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Procopio came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Casse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. the xeneise dream team played a much better game than Temperley and deserved their victory. The Temperley players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
