In the 5th minute Emanuel Corti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Corti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Nesto having to interfere. Papato Tatengue's attentive Sebastian Lawrence managed to snatch the ball when Tiburcio Quintun made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Placido Lia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Domingo Johans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Placido Lia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papato Tatengue's Domingo Johans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Erdiano in the 24th minute of play forced Papato Tatengue's goalkeeper Domingo Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Pedro Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Papato Tatengue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Saúl Menem in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Saúl Menem got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Nesto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emanuel Corti kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alzaga FC's Alberto Fernández shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Domingo Johans but with some difficulty. Placido Lia scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Johans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Emanuel Corti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Corti in the 39th minute of play. Emanuel Corti scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Nesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Emanuel Corti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Corti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Corti in the 54th minute. Emanuel Corti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Nesto came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Corti slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 57th minute. Domingo Johans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Lia's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Matias Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Humberto Manilan replaced Pedro Salamon. Celso Felipillo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Carlos Saúl Menem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jorge Nesto made a huge save. Emanuel Corti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Nesto having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Papato Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Lia came free, but Domingo Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papato Tatengue's goalkeeper Domingo Johans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alzaga FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Papato Tatengue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celedonio Erdiano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Erdiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingo Johans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Emanuel Corti came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Papato Tatengue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Corti couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Dei to maneuver through the defense. The Alzaga FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Papato Tatengue's performance. The match ended with a win for Papato Tatengue.
