In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Maní FC booed when 25 de Abril Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Turak hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Higinio Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Turak in the 19th minute of play. Maximo Mitxel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Ramone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Turak came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slawomir Turak's late challenge caught a Maní FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slawomir Turak helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes 25 de Abril Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Turak. In the 33rd minute, Slawomir Turak made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Terciero. Maní FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marciano Abajas hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Slawomir Turak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 40 minutes into the game, Yao Ang Feng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Higinio Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 played minutes Maní FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Oriol. 48 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Turak came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Turak in the 48th minute of play. After the first half 25 de Abril Futbol Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Ramone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Slawomir Turak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Maximo Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yao Ang Feng in the 76th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dario Isaio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maní FC's protests and gave Dario Isaio a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Slawomir Turak made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Terciero. Maní FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Oriol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximo Mitxel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 25 de Abril Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
