Ulises Ihintza lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Denis Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Lluciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Caradaro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Lluciano. Honorato Lluciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 44th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Honorato Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barreal FC's Severo Rubio got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Txilar made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Caradaro during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Atlético Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
