Dante Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Rafe ran back to his position shaking his head. Geronimo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Rafe in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Chorche got free with Akşemseddin Taran in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geronimo Gabrio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe. But to his dismay, Dante Rafe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Geronimo Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Jaszcz in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Dante Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akşemseddin Taran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernán Losada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. When Juan Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Juan Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Curumalán AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Metapalo FC:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Metapalo FC. Toto Fabri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geronimo Gabrio. 1-2. Hernán Losada spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Metapalo FC's goal. When Dante Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Metapalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Rafe couldn't finish the play. Curumalán AFC's Geronimo Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Jaszcz in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Diego Chorche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumalán AFC and the Metapalo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Chorche. Tytus Jaszcz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Gabrio. Geronimo Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half Metapalo FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Rafe to make the kick off. Curumalán AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Dante Rafe scored to the left of an out of position Geronimo Gabrio, making the score, 1-4. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Juan Bermudez hit a great ball. Tytus Jaszcz came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geronimo Gabrio could save by the left post. In the 61stth minute of the game Tytus Jaszcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curumalán AFC's Geronimo Gabrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Curumalán AFC defense, Dante Rafe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Gabrio. The Curumalán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Gabrio should have stopped the shot. Geronimo Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Akşemseddin Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Losada in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Dante Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Gabrio having to interfere. With his leg Geronimo Gabrio managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geronimo Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tytus Jaszcz's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Akşemseddin Taran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geronimo Gabrio. Geronimo Gabrio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. In the 93rd match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Losada to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match, Dante Rafe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geronimo Gabrio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Metapalo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
